Track Your Absentee Ballot from Overseas
Two moments are worth checking: that your election official sent your ballot, and that your voted ballot arrived back. Most states publish an online lookup for both, and your local election official can confirm either one directly.

If tracking shows nothing
A lookup that cannot find you usually means your registration has not been processed yet, or it was filed under a slightly different name or address. It does not necessarily mean anything is wrong. Give it a few days after you file, then ask your election official.
If your ballot was sent but has not reached you and your deadline is approaching, the federal backup ballot exists for exactly that situation. If the federal transmission date has passed and nothing has reached you, tell us your ballot is late — the pattern helps us raise it with election offices.
